EMAG serves all Black Minorities and Ethnic (BME) groups including Eastern Europeans of all ages in the borough who have experienced racial disadvantage and/or found it difficult to access mainstream services due to linguistic and cultural barriers. This quality and ability is recognised by key agencies in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames (LBRUT) with whom EMAG works with. The latest 2011 Census indicates there are now more than 25,000 people who come from ethnic backgrounds living in LBRUT an increase of nearly 10,000 since the last measurement in 2001.
