SPEAR is a charity working with homeless people in and around Richmond. Since 1987, we have offered services to thousands of homeless and vulnerable people, successfully transforming lives and supporting many of our service users to the point that they have achieved total independence.
SPEAR is not just about homelessness and housing – our aim is to support clients to live independently, reach their aspirations and live a fulfilling life.
The two areas we are most frequently asked about are housing issues and concerns regarding claiming benefits.

The advice we give is to varied clients. Although it is primarily those already experiencing homelessness we offer support to those precariously housed who are at risk of becoming homelessOpening Hours: Office Hours 9am-5pm. Rough Sleepers Helpline is checked during working hours but phone messages are encouraged out of hours.
